BASIC BOATING Trenton Falls Power Squadron

The United States Power Squadron's Basic Boating Course provides a practical foundation for beginning and intermediate level recreational boaters, both sail and power. This class, ideal for current and future boating enthusiasts and family members, will cover boat handling, seamanship, piloting, knots, state and local regulations and equipment requirements, charts, aids to navigation, navigational rules, and some hands-on course plotting experience. This course meets all state recreational boater- licensing requirements and will help ensure safer, confident boating. A wallet card and certificate of completion will be issued at the successful completion of the course.

 

TRENTON FALLS POWER SQUADRON is one of 400 member squadrons in the United States Power Squadrons (USPS). USPS, started in 1914, is the largest non-governmental, non-profit, non-military recreational boating organization in the country. It is dedicated to boating education, civic programs and boating camaraderie.
